About this app

Echomitter is a video recording app built for situations where a recording should not disappear too easily.

You can record video, upload footage automatically, and choose trusted contacts who can help protect access to important recordings.

In Echomitter, recordings cannot be deleted with a single tap. A deletion request must either wait through a security timer or be approved by trusted contacts. This helps protect recordings from accidental deletion, unauthorized deletion, or situations where someone is pressured to remove footage.

Echomitter is not an emergency service and does not contact emergency responders. Users are responsible for using recording, streaming, and location features lawfully.
