EchoPM Mobile is one app for renters and property managers. Same login. If someone works for a property management company on EchoPM, they can switch into Manager mode from Profile. Everyone else stays in the tenant experience. For launch marketing, lead with the tenant story. Manager mode is real and useful for staff, but it’s not the App Store headline.
What tenants can do
They can search for places to rent, browse on a map or list, open property and unit details, and save homes they like. They can start a rental application, invite co-applicants, and track status as the property manager reviews them.
Once they have a lease, the app becomes their lease portal. They can see lease details, pay rent and invoices, set up autopay, manage payment methods including cards and bank accounts where the property allows it, and review payment history. They can open and e-sign lease documents in the app. They can submit maintenance requests with photos and message their property team. There are also move-in tools like a utility setup checklist, move-in guide, and move-in inspection, plus renters insurance and renewal flows, and a notice-to-vacate path when they’re ready to leave.
The home screen pulls the day-to-day stuff together: leases, applications, payment snapshot, activity, and maintenance. Profile covers their account, household, vehicles and pets, verifications or screening when needed, notifications, billing, help, and support chat. Ava is the built-in tenant assistant. She can answer questions about the lease, payments, and maintenance and help people get to the right place in the app. FreeSpace roommate or openings features are available where a property uses them.
What property managers can do
Managers with org access switch into Manager mode and pick their organization. From there they get a mobile ops toolkit for daily work: a home dashboard with key numbers and alerts, properties and units they can add and edit, leasing tools for applications and leases including approve or reject and scoring, maintenance tickets they can create and assign, and chat with applicants and tenants.
They can also work with tenants and owners lists, team and org settings, platform billing, and expense capture including receipt scanning. Some deeper workflows still open as polished in-app web screens inside the app, like full application or lease workspaces, financials, documents hubs, showings, and leasing terms. Heavy admin work like analytics, automations, and integrations stays on the manager website. Ava is available on the manager side too as an assistant for staff.
One product, two audiences. For renters: find a home, apply, sign, pay, get help, stay on top of your lease. For property teams: run the portfolio from your phone for the jobs you do every day, with the full desktop product still there when you need more depth. Under the hood it’s the same EchoPM platform as the web apps, with secure login, payments, notifications, and support built in.
