Each time you have to delete the connection completely and link it again so that it connects properly and displays data. Not even sure if it stays connected while riding, because apart from showing some data that I check occasionally, the app is of no use... I can chose a point on the map and it's not even showing/creating a route?! Useless! It's really a shame that you're forced to use something so bad if you want to connect your smartphone to the Yamaha Interface X.

You could always add better maping or dashboard and the way you customize the dashboard...but what i dislike the most is the fact that even plug on the 1.2 amp usb (Yamaha pw-x3 motor with interface X) and pair the screen those time out and lock back up. So it make it a bit useless. And i can't seem to connect my garmin instinct 2 for heart rate even when it is broadcasted...

It's a nice looking app. The display matches the Yamaha Display C on my Wabash RT. However, I am having some trouble in that Cadence data shown on the Display C is not showing on e-Sync connection app. I assume that is the RPM field that remains at 0. I have tried all Bluetooth profiles from the Yamaha and e-Sync does not seem to capture cadence. I am also having trouble after the ride is over, e-Sync does not actually sync with Strava even though it says my app is connected. Help!
