About this app

Taking forward its continuous efforts of building an active democratic citizenry in the country, Election Commission of India has undertaken a new initiative by designing a Mobile Application to show information published by candidates during nomination regarding their criminal antecedents, so that at one stroke, each voter gets such information on his/her mobile phone.
The app provides following facilities to Indian voters:
(1) View all candidates who filled nomination
(2) View candidate’s details
(3) View candidate’s affidavit including criminal antecedents
(4) Search Candidate by Name
(5) Know Your Candidate

Completely disappointed.. The information is not completely available.. Need many changes in the app and need to upload much more data.. It should be like after searching for state and then party we need to get all the candidates and their records this way would be helpful.. But i didn't expected this from ECI.. The app needs much more improvement.

So many duplicate data in this app For example, My assembly constituency is sankarankovil. In this particular section one (not a single one) candidate is displayed in many times on same constituency. It seems kyc database can't find duplicate registration. This is the major drawback for eci. Even my friend got 3 voter ids behalf of a mistake ( multiple registration) ... Please fix those bugs...

It's a good reasonable app. Yes there are areas of improvement. But basic thing you can know in 2 minutes for your area candidate, if you know your area, state.
