Audio can't be simulated; even if I change my phone's date and time manually, it still says the same thing: "Audio muted due to rapid eclipse events. Please reduce simulation speed or move to the eclipse center for longer events." So I guess it's relying on the time from the network and not from the device. I tried turning on airplane mode, then the app doesn't even work: on the Home tab, the loading icon just keeps spinning. Strange choice IMHO, but I guess it's to ensure accurate timing.

Sincerely the best Application to help track the eclipse. With it we were able to listen to the step, take time to notice the changes and feel very secured observing when it was safe to do. I cannot stress how much this app made our experience grandiose. We were able to observe all the parts of the eclipse and the changes it did. Thank you so much.

What an incredible and accurate app! I was hesitating between two places to watch the eclipse. This app showed me where the totality would last the longest, so I picked that spot :D It was so useful to know exactly what to look for and when. I was so scared of missing something cool during the eclipse, but now I know I haven't missed a thing.
