Cloud Bound is a single-player casual puzzle game, and its core gameplay is as follows:
Core fantasy: Pilot the vintage hot air balloon "White Cloud" through the valley and deliver hyacinth blooms to the mountaintop festival plaza.
1. 🎈 Hold to burn · release to glide
Hold the screen to fire the burner and climb; release to glide and slowly sink under gravity and drag
Burning 3s straight overheats the burner — a 2s cooldown follows before you can burn again
The correct rhythm is "burn 2s, rest 1s"
2. 🌸 Hyacinth blooms
Collect glowing blooms along the route, trailing glowing pollen
Land smoothly on a supply station platform: 1 bloom is automatically consumed to activate the station, the rest are banked, and the station lights its warm beacon and becomes your respawn point
3. ⛰️ One touch = crash
Hitting mountain walls, cable towers, migrating bird flocks, the sightseeing airship, or the storm layer destroys the balloon instantly
On a crash, unbanked blooms drift back to their original spots; you respawn at the last activated station (or the start) and moving obstacles ahead reset
4. 🌬️ Valley wind corridor
Ride the tailwind through the narrow pass between the peaks to gain speed (mind the lowered storm ceiling)
Cross the climbing peaks and land smoothly on the festival plaza to win, with your time and bloom count tallied
Overall positioning: the slowest entry in the series — a near-zero-pressure leisurely flight that tests patience, planning, and respect for inertia rather than reaction speed.
Cloud Bound: Fly a balloon, gather blooms, dodge hazards, reach the plaza.
