Eco-Genesis is a living pond in your pocket. Every capsule grows from a seed that invents its own species, food chain and laws of physics. You command nobody: dose nutrients, light and cold so that no species dies out.
Algae breathe and divide, grazers look where they swim and flee from predators, predators chase their prey and start to sweat when only a few of them are left. Keep the balance, reach the goal of each era and watch your pond evolve.
• Every seed creates a different capsule: 3 to 6 species with invented Latin names, its own gravity, day and night cycle, optimal pH and water temperature
• A real food chain: algae live on light and nitrogen, grazers eat the algae, predators eat the grazers
• Keep an eye on pH, temperature, nitrogen and light, and on the stability of the whole ecosystem
• Four catalysts paid with bio-points: nutrients, light, cold and mutation
• A stable pond earns bio-points, and every era you complete adds a bonus
• Each era has its own goal: bring a species to a target, reach a number of creatures, hold the stability or keep every species safe for a while
• At the end of an era, see how every population changed and pick one of three mutations, such as Moonlight, Chalky shell or Flying spores
• When a species is about to vanish, the simulation pauses: save it or let it die out
• An extinct species does not end the game: the capsule goes dark only when no producer is left
• Hundreds of creatures with faces and reactions, drawn as cartoons with thick ink outlines
• A speech bubble tells you what the pond needs right now
• Soft sounds: a water hum that grows darker when the balance breaks, little blops for the births
• The species list shows what each one eats and the temperature it likes
• Your capsule is saved and keeps swimming behind the menu
• Available in 10 languages
Eco-Genesis shows ads: a banner in the menu and on the era summary, and an occasional ad between eras, never during play. Videos are always your choice: watch one for extra bio-points or to save a species at risk. Optional purchases: no ads, a pack of 1000 bio-points, and the Lab, where you set gravity, light cycle and temperature of a new capsule yourself.
