MapShot is a camera that stamps every photo with where and when it was taken. The place name, a satellite map, GPS coordinates, altitude, compass direction, date and time - drawn right onto the full-resolution picture.

Perfect for site inspections, construction progress, field work, deliveries, real estate, surveys, travel journals and anyone who needs a clear record of where a photo was taken.

EVERYTHING ON THE STAMP
• Place name and full street address
• Satellite map thumbnail of the spot
• GPS latitude and longitude, plus altitude
• Compass direction the camera was facing
• Date and time in your local time zone, with the country flag
• Your own note, such as a site, job or client name

FOLDERS AND PHOTO LIBRARY
• Keep each site, job or trip in its own folder
• Choose the folder before saving; MapShot remembers it for the next photos
• Browse, share and move your photos from the built-in Photos screen
• Every photo is also saved to your phone's gallery

• Choose exactly which details appear or pick a ready-made template: Classic, Minimal or Survey

• Self-timer (3 or 10 seconds)
• 2× zoom on supported cameras
• 4:3 and 16:9 photos, front and rear cameras
• Photo quality: High, Medium or Low

WORKS OFFLINE
GPS coordinates, direction, date and time work without internet or mobile signal. When you're online, MapShot also adds the address and the map.

STAMP PHOTOS FROM YOUR GALLERY
Pick an existing photo and MapShot stamps it with the time and location saved in the photo itself.

HONEST STAMPS
• Coordinates and time come from your device and can't be edited
• If you correct a place name by hand, the stamp says "Place name edited"
• Photos picked from the gallery are marked "From gallery"
• Mock-location apps are detected, so a fake GPS position is never stamped

SAVED THE RIGHT WAY
• Full-resolution photos saved straight to your gallery, named by date and time
• Location, time and direction are also written into the photo's EXIF data, so gallery and map apps can read them

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account or sign-up
• Your photos are never uploaded by the app
• Location is only used while the app is open
