HiddenInk is a steganography app that lets you hide private messages inside images and protect them with encryption. This allows you to store or share information discreetly while keeping the message hidden inside an image.

Before hiding your message, HiddenInk encrypts it using AES and protects it with a password. The encrypted information is embedded into the image so the message cannot be seen by simply viewing the image normally.

You can hide a message in an image, share the resulting file, and later extract and decrypt the hidden message using the same password.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Hide a message:

1. Select "Hide Message".
2. Choose an image from your gallery or take a photo with your camera.
3. Enter the message you want to hide and set a password.
4. Process the image to hide the message.
5. Save, open, or share the resulting image as a PNG or ZIP file.

Extract a message:

1. Select "Extract Message".
2. Choose the image or ZIP file containing the hidden message.
3. Enter the same password used to protect the message.
4. Process the file to extract and decrypt the message.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY

HiddenInk uses AES encryption to protect messages with a password. The message remains hidden inside the image and cannot be read simply by opening or viewing the image.

Remember to keep the password used to protect your message. Without it, you may not be able to recover the protected content.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SHARING IMAGES

To keep the hidden message intact, avoid processes that modify or compress the image.

- On WhatsApp, use "Send as document" to avoid image compression.
- Prefer email or cloud storage services that preserve the original file.
- Avoid editing, compressing, or resaving the image with apps that reduce its quality.
- When possible, use the ZIP file generated by the app.
