About this app

Eddocu is a PDF editor, Word (DOCX) and PowerPoint (PPTX) editor and PDF scanner for Android, with AI writing tools. Edit your files right on your device, even offline and for free, scan paper into PDFs with the built-in document scanner and write with AI. No ads.

Free offline editing
Open a PDF, DOCX or PPTX file from your device or another app and edit its text, images and slides in Eddocu. Editing happens on your device, so it works without an internet connection, and it is free, with no subscription and no ads. When you are signed in, your changes sync to your account once you are back online.

Edit PDF files
Open a PDF and edit it in Eddocu's editor: fix a typo, update a number, rewrite a paragraph. You can also merge PDFs, reorder pages, extract the pages you need and delete the ones you don't, right on your phone.

Edit Word and PowerPoint files
Open a .docx document or a .pptx deck and edit it in Eddocu: text, images and slides stay editable instead of turning into a flat picture. With Pro AI or Pro AI Plus, ask the AI writer for a first draft, then keep editing every page and slide yourself.

PDF scanner: scan paper to PDF
Take a photo of a printed page. Eddocu looks for the page edges (you can drag the corners), straightens the page and saves a PDF, in color, grayscale or black and white. The PDF scanner works offline and needs no account. With Pro AI or Pro AI Plus and an internet connection, you can rebuild a scan as an editable document using AI credits.

AI writer and AI images
With an account, ask the AI writer to draft, rewrite or summarize text right in your document, or describe an image and have AI create it for your slide or page. AI features run on services from other companies, and Eddocu asks before it sends anything to them.

Free plan and Pro tiers
There are no ads in Eddocu. The free plan lets you edit PDF, DOCX and PPTX files offline, scan paper to PDF on your device and organize pages. Cloud storage, AI and some other features need an account, an internet connection or a paid plan. Eddocu Pro, Pro AI and Pro AI Plus add more storage, imports and AI credits; Pro AI and Pro AI Plus also add AI document creation. Plans renew monthly or yearly through Google Play, yearly plans start with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, and you can cancel any time in Google Play subscriptions.

Coursework, work and paperwork
Use it for coursework, contracts and forms, receipts and notes: anything that starts as a PDF, a deck or a sheet of paper.

Privacy, support and languages
Eddocu works in English, Turkish, French, Spanish and Simplified Chinese.
