About this app

EdgeTrack Driver is the companion app for drivers whose company runs its deliveries and transport on the EdgeTrack logistics platform. Your dispatcher plans and assigns trips from the EdgeTrack dashboard; the app brings each trip to your phone, guides you through every stop and records what happened so your team has a complete, accurate picture of the day.

The app is for use with an account created by your employer. There is no public sign-up: if you do not have EdgeTrack login details, ask your dispatcher or fleet manager.

FEATURES

- Trip assignments on your phone – receive a notification when a trip is assigned to you, review the planned stops, then accept and start the trip or reject it with a reason.

- Stop-by-stop guidance – see your next stop, its address, time window and planned service time, with the route drawn on the map and your live position on it.

- Arrival alerts – the app notifies you (with vibration) when you reach a planned stop so you can start or complete it without checking the screen.

- Proof of service – take photos at each stop and scan barcodes or QR codes with the camera; everything is attached to the stop record for your team to see.

- Skips and extra stops – record a skipped stop with a reason, or log unplanned stops such as traffic holds and breaks.

- Live tracking during trips – while a trip is in progress the app records your location about once a second, including when the app is in the background, so dispatch can follow the trip and the route can be reviewed afterwards. A persistent notification shows whenever tracking is running, and tracking stops automatically when the trip ends.

- Works offline – location data and stop updates are kept on the device when there is no signal and uploaded as soon as a connection returns.

- Your trip history – review your completed trips, distance driven and time at stops.

- Light and dark themes.

PRIVACY

EdgeTrack collects your location only while a trip assigned to you is in progress, never at any other time. Location data is shared with your employer and is not linked to any device identifiers. The app contains no advertising and no analytics SDKs.
