Edipresso Desk is a mobile editorial office app used by reporters and administrators of registered media outlets.
The app does not offer sign-up; users must log in using an existing account issued by their affiliated media organization.
■ Reporting Directly from the Field
- Attach up to 5 photos from the scene by taking a photo or selecting one.
- Recording continues uninterrupted until the stop button is pressed, and the in-house voice recognition server sequentially converts the voice into text to fill in the report notes.
- Recording is maintained even if the screen is turned off or other apps are used.
■ Drafting Articles with Photos and Notes
- Receive drafts of the article title and body text, as well as pre-publication verification items, based on report notes and photos.
- The content is written by Codex or Edipresso AI, depending on the AI service connected by your media organization; the currently used service can be checked in the settings.
- Users manually apply the draft after review. It is not published automatically.
■ Checking Articles on My Site
- Check the number, list, and body of your articles using the same criteria as the Web Reporter Center.
- Provides filters by status and a title search function.
■ Security
- Passwords are not stored on the device, and screen capturing of the login screen is blocked.
- Login sessions are encrypted and stored in the device's secure storage and expire after a maximum of 12 hours.
- Reporting notes and photos saved on the device will be deleted along with the app if it is uninstalled.
■ User Guide
- If you do not have an account, please request registration from your media organization administrator.
- In this version, article creation and changes to review and publication status are performed only within the device; actual submission and publication to the website are not provided.
