Strava times a segment effort by snapping to the nearest recorded GPS point at the start and finish. Because your device only records a point every few seconds, you're almost never timed over the exact segment boundaries — so your time can be off by seconds, enough to shuffle a leaderboard.
Accurate Segment Times fixes this. Connect your Strava account, pick any of your activities, and the app recomputes each segment effort the right way: it finds the precise point on your GPS track where you crossed the segment's start and finish lines and interpolates the exact crossing time between recorded points.
For every segment effort you see:
• Strava's reported time
• the accurate, interpolated time
• the difference, to a tenth of a second
It works with your own activities, runs entirely on your device, and contains no ads or tracking.
