+ The app works great. + Great customer service + surprisedly great CD rates +/ - credit unions like this one offer better rates than big banks but they fall short to online banks rates. To be fair, there is no way they can offer high rates like online banks. Downside: it should be easier to open a CD online. Yes I have been told I can send a secure message but why can't they just let us open a CD easily and quickly like I do with other online banks like Capital One for example.

Awesome new app—same level of features as big name banks. Love the desktop experience too. Thank you for making me change my password as I have not in the last few years. Security is important and I would rather deal with a little inconvenience now than have a hacker clear my accounts out later. The only issue I had when verifying my account was typing in the whole account number instead of the shortened member id (which is the last 7 digits, not including the very last number).

The new update makes it impossible to log in. When you change screens to get the authorization code by text, voice, or email, you come back to a blank EdFed screen with nowhere to enter to code. I have to retrieve the code from a different device or my landline phone. Not good!!! It's no longer "mobile" banking by phone. There is no Update option for the app, so I deleted and then reinstalled the app -- no improvement.
