Fake/Proof (F/P) proactively enhances the ability to verify the reality of video and audio recordings -- making them proof against faking (such as video tampering or DeepFakes). It also supports multi-camera simultaneous recording to a single file to allow near-360 degree recordings on some phones.

* How does it work? *
F/P uses several methods to protect against faking. These include:
- cryptographically signing the recording streams (eg video and audio) using User and F/P App keys.
- syncing timestamps with the F/P Server
- embedding phone sensor data in the recording

Ratings and reviews

It's great. I would add two things: one: time stamps by qualified providers (eidas), which would be free and have a legal presumption of authenticity, for example in the European Union and the Another is that you can not create a username

Love this! It does what it says. I would love to have the ability to change focus in the middle recording. I really don't get the people who don't understand the point of this and leaving reviews. Like if you don't know what it does why you leaving bad reviews bruh. And the guy who left that review in here saying he used it in an iphone while this all doesn't even exist in ios had me dying 😂

Based on explanation i believe the app is good but the name fake proof just sends the wrong message.
