Residents throughout the neighborhood consider this creepy apartment to be cursed, but fear always attracts adventurers, and secrets are only revealed to the brave. In August 1997, two police officers disappeared in this place and their bodies were never found. ☠️☠️

🕵🏻 Almost a year after those terrified events, journalist Alan Parker decides to conduct his own investigation and find out what happened to the missing police officers. On his behalf, you will have to solve interesting puzzles, avoid traps, and come face to face with the terrible monsters that inhabit the place.

Room 817: Scary Escape Horror has some of the best characteristics that defines a one of a kind horror game. With it's basic on-screen controls and simple HUD it makes escaping easy yet terrifying. Footsteps, wood creaking, and screams is just some of the sounds in the game that makes using headphones not only mandatory but completes the immersive experience. So grab your headphones and turn off the lights...that is if you don't scare easily...

It was good for the first time through. The sound is what makes things spooky. The reason for 4 stars is that the game can become repetitive and the ads pop up during game play which takes away from the scares. I also found all the secrets and nothing happened. What was the point of finding all the secrets? 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, I would recommend for you to at least play through once.

The anticipation of the monster getting you is the scariest part of this game but it has an original plot at least I think so.My only critiques are certain things don't get saved on the map if you leave the game, however it does remember how much ground you have covered which doors have been opened, etc. Also I get that this is a horror game but the darkness should be able to be adjusted because I turned the brightness all the way up and I still had trouble seeing. Loved playing ❣️🫀😶‍🌫️
