Lucida answers the question you ask before going out into the sky: Is it worth going out tonight, what time, and what should you look for?

TONIGHT
It reduces the changing conditions throughout the night to a single score based on your location. It combines when the moon rises, when the sky completely darkens, and what the clouds will do to tell you the best time range. Seven nightly views also answer the question of "tonight or Saturday?".

CALENDAR
Moon phases, meteor showers, eclipses, and International Space Station transits are all in one timeline. For each event, it tells you whether it will be visible from here, and if so, at what time and where to look. ISS transits are also only those that are actually visible; noteworthy events that are not visible from here are also listed separately.

AUTOMATIC LIGHT POLLUTION
You don't need to manually select the Bortle value; it's estimated from your location. Objects that will be visible tonight are filtered according to that value; things you won't see are not included in the list.

The sky rotates with you as you turn your phone. You can swipe with one finger, zoom in with two fingers. Objects below the horizon also appear faint.

ATLAS
A visual tree stretching from the universe to the moons. It branches out as you touch; you go from the Milky Way to the Solar System, and from there to Jupiter's moons. In Concepts mode, you explore phenomena such as supernovae, black holes, and dark matter.

WORKS OFFLINE
All astronomical calculations are done on your device. The catalog, star chart, and Atlas work without internet.
