About this app

How do you print your own checks at home? Checkbook44 is a check writer that prints them on blank check paper, MICR line included. No ads, no account needed.

Save your bank account once: the name on your checks, your bank, routing number, account number and next check number. After that, each check needs only a payee and an amount, and you watch it fill in on a live preview as you type. Print it to your Wi-Fi printer or share it as a PDF, then save it to the Register.

Write a check
• A live preview shows the check exactly as it will print
• The amount in words fills in for you: "Two hundred forty-five and 00/100"
• Check numbers count up on their own, with no repeats in an account
• Pick a saved payee to fill in their name and address
• A memo line, plus a private note that never prints
• Tap the preview to edit on a full-screen check

Print and share
• The full check face with the E-13B MICR line: routing, account and check number
• Personal (6 × 2.75 in) and Business (8.5 × 3.5 in) sizes
• One check at the top, middle or bottom of the page, or three per page
• Move the print right or down to line it up with your check paper
• Print a test page on plain paper first
• Print and share as many checks as you need

Check design
• Add your logo and your bank's logo
• Draw your signature once and print it on each check, or sign by pen
• Stars fill the blank space on the payee, words and amount lines
• A second name for joint accounts, a fraction code and an expiry note
