About this app

Eider is a shared-expense app for people who keep separate finances and share costs. Use it for rent and groceries, a trip with friends, or the bills you share with a partner.

SAVE YOUR USUAL SPLIT
Set a standing split on your nest, the shared space where you keep expenses. Divide costs evenly or by percentage, such as 60/40. New expenses use that arrangement automatically. Change an individual expense to exact amounts without changing the standing split.

KEEP AN ONGOING RECORD
The running balances reflect the expenses and payments you record. Each pair can settle independently while the nest keeps adding expenses. Pay through your bank, a payment app, or cash, then record the payment in Eider. Eider doesn't hold or transfer money.

START WITHOUT WAITING FOR AN INVITATION TO BE ACCEPTED
In a solo nest, you name the other member and track shared expenses yourself. You can start keeping the record before they join, or continue keeping it on your own.

CORE FEATURES ARE FREE
Nests, expenses, standing splits, individual overrides, repeating expenses, and settling up are free. There are no member or expense limits. What's free today stays free. No ads, ever.

What’s new

Sign in with a passkey, using Face ID, Touch ID or your screen lock. Turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app and ten backup codes. Your first expense is one step, and your first nest is one tap. On Android, Google sign-in keeps you signed in and password managers can fill more screens. Changes other people make show up as they happen again.
