IMPORTANT PERMISSIONS NOTE:
To read your local messages and write backups, this app requires standard SMS permissions. Android security
policies require that the app temporarily be set as your Default SMS App during the restoration process in order to
write messages back to your device's database. As soon as the restore is complete, the app will safely prompt you
to switch back to your preferred primary messaging app (e.g., Google Messages).
