The ESi app by EinStrong Foundation successfully powers the Conditional Basic Income (CBI) pilot in Cambodia, South Sudan, Uganda & Nepal, supporting more than 10,000 mothers and children across 200+ merchants. With biometric authentication, the app ensures transparent fund distribution and allows donors to track the impact of their contributions. Building on this success, plans are underway to expand the program to other countries, including those in Africa.
Offline & Low-Connectivity Support:
In select deployment regions with poor or unavailable internet infrastructure, ESi offers an offline SMS mode. In these specific regions, the app uses secure SMS protocols to execute financial transactions, send and receive funds, and update account balances when internet access is unavailable.
