Disappear: Take a break from the digital noise

Modern life is loud. Notifications never stop. Feeds never end. Your mind rarely gets the chance to rest. Disappear helps you step away from the noise and reconnect with what matters. Choose how long you want to disappear. Select a few apps that are allowed. Everything else becomes temporarily blocked so you can focus on real life.

Before each session you set an intention. Spend time with family. Reset your mind. Meditate. Enjoy nature. Simply breathe. While you are away, our little cat sets off on a train journey to a random city. If you complete the session, the journey ends and you receive photos from the trip as memories of your digital escape.

Disappear uses the Android AccessibilityService API to help users disconnect and recover from burnout.

When a focus session is started, the app monitors which applications are opened on the device. If the user attempts to open a blocked app during the selected focus period, Disappear automatically closes or blocks that app to help the user stay offline and take a break.

The Accessibility Service is used only to detect when selected apps are opened and to enforce the user-selected focus session. No personal data is collected or transmitted using this service.
