About this app

eKoPlayer is a fast, elegant media player for your own M3U playlist — live TV, films and series on your phone and tablet, built for touch.

Add your playlist and eKoPlayer turns it into a proper television experience: a full programme guide (EPG), instant channel switching, favourites, resume, and up to eight channels at once on a single screen.

WHAT YOU GET
• Live TV, films and series in one media player
• M3U and M3U8 playlist support — add your own source in seconds
• Full TV guide (EPG) with now and next, and a schedule you can browse
• Multi-screen (multi-view) — up to eight channels on one screen, all live if your source allows it
• Fast search across every channel, film and episode you have added
• Favourites, and resume exactly where you left off
• Subtitles and multiple audio tracks, with your preferred languages remembered
• Several playlists at once, switched from a single screen
• A connection speed test that explains the result, not just the number
• In English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian

A MEDIA PLAYER BUILT FOR TOUCH
Laid out for a phone and tablet screen — not a television interface shrunk to fit. Everything is a tap away, and the controls sit where your thumbs already are. The player runs in landscape, so video fills the screen edge to edge.

SET UP IN A MINUTE
Open the app, add your M3U playlist, and your catalogue imports itself. The TV guide arrives with it.

NO ACCOUNT, EVER
No sign-up, no password, no email address. Your device is identified by an ID the app shows you, and nothing else.

SEVEN DAYS FREE
Every feature works during the trial. Afterwards, one licence activates one device. Choose a yearly licence or a lifetime one — both are a single payment with no auto-renewal, and nothing is ever charged without your asking.

A licence unlocks the application only. It does not include, and does not provide access to, any channels, streams or media content.

What’s new

• Faster channel changes; a spinner only when a start is slow
• Clearer playback errors: one message with a short code
• Live channels always start at the live edge
• Switching source reloads its channels and opens the home screen
• Backup addresses your source advertises are kept when you save, and your address is no longer its own backup
• Film and series pages show a poster when there is no artwork
