The Apex Protect GPS app for Android allows you to view the last known and historical locations of your Apex Protect GPS device equipped vehicle as well as configure and set multiple alerts. No need to wait for the app to locate your vehicle, our GPS devices are always transmitting location data at 5 minute intervals during vehicle movement. Like many of the reviews, this app stopped sharing notifications quite a few months ago. I can still log in and see up-to-date vehicle tracking and services, but no alerts or notifications are given with my Samsung S21, which defeats many of the upsides of this service. Both my phone and the app are up-to-date. Notifications stopped, and app crashes started with the last app update.

This app had been working great for me since 2018 when I got my car until last month 3/27/21 it has not updated location at all. I've restarted, Uninstaller, re downloaded, and reset password. It doesn't work. It says my car is at a whole different location while it's right in front of me. It's really disappointing I was really happy with this app.

I noticed a while back that I was not getting notifications for my vehicle anymore. I was checking it today after dropping it off at the dealership, ait had not updated the location for 6 hours. It was showing it as being in front of my work. I noticed there is a 2025 duplicate of this available, was there a switch without any notification?
