About this app

Power Monitor helps you monitor power outages using an Android device connected to the power source you want to watch.

Turn an Android phone or tablet into a Power Node. Enable power monitoring, connect the charger, and Power Monitor detects power loss and restoration events.

Key features

• Monitor charger power changes on an Android device.
• Receive local audible outage alerts.
• Receive remote push notifications on your other registered devices.
• Use the same account to view your Power Nodes, their latest status, last contact, and recent activity.
• Acknowledge outage alerts and keep track of power events.
• Configure device roles: monitor power, receive remote alerts, or both.
• Pause monitoring temporarily when maintenance or an intentional power interruption should not create events.

Power Monitor can work locally without an account for audible alerts. Remote alerts, Power Node synchronization, and account history require an internet connection and notification permission on the receiving device.

Use an old Android device as a dedicated monitor, and use your everyday phone to receive alerts and follow the status of your monitored locations.
