2-D Shapes for Kids to Learn is a simple but powerful tool for helping kids identify 2-dimensional shapes. It is appropriate for toddlers, preschool students, Kindergarten students, grade 1 and 2 students... anyone studying basic geometry.

The shapes / forms included in this app include: circle, triangle, rectangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, square, rhombus, crescent, cross, heart, oval, and star. Each shape is displayed along with its name. Tap the shape to hear its name and to see it rotate.

The study of Sight Words aligns to Common Core State Standard CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.G.A.2 - Correctly name shapes regardless of their orientations or overall size.

This app does contain advertisements via Google's AdMob service, but no ads will be displayed from categories that Google labels as sensitive.
