We're Jane and Brian: an Irish couple living in Spain, learning Spanish ourselves. We built Ella Verbs because we couldn't find a method that actually taught conjugation instead of just drilling it. This is by far the best learning app I have found to zero in on verb knowledge gaps. I love the customized practice module including the speaking portion, which forces me to recall & respond verbally quickly. Something I'm desperately working on. Explanations are clear, concise and organized well. Love the library and all the customization. Truly a well-done app. Can't recommend enough. Please don't water this down for 💰 like other apps that were once good but now suck... cough... Duolingo.

This application is seamless and perfect for committing verb conjugations to memory. I have studied Spanish for 4 years and been immersed in the Spanish language for close to a year , however I always had to pause and think mid conversation about how to properly conjugate certain verbs. This app is helping me immensely get over gaps in conversations and has greatly improved my confidence in speaking Spanish.

I've just started using this and felt it worth paying for an annual subscription. I've been using the paid version of Duolingo for 4 years now which has really helped build up my Spanish vocabulary but I'm still very weak on Verb tenses which was made VERY clear in the in person intermediate Spanish language class I'm currently taking. I'm hoping this helps me get up to speed there and beyond. I'll come back and edit this if my opinion changes (good or bad.)
