Using the VpnService and have VPN as their core functionality can create asecure device-level tunnel to a remote server

tun2socks is used to "socksify" TCP (IPv4 and IPv6) connections at the network layer. It implements a TUN virtual network interface which accepts all incoming TCP connections (regardless of destination IP), and forwards them through a SOCKS server.

Socks5 protocol: support Anonymous, USERNAME/PASSWORD authentication.
Power save: avoid the problem of prolonged use of mobile phone heating.
Global proxy: handle all network traffic of any internet programs sent by the device through a proxy,make app uses SOCK5 proxy forcely.
Lan port forwarding: port 10808,allow connections from the Lan, other devices can connection to proxy by your ip address through socks.

Ratings and reviews

The app is nice, but I can't give a 5 star rating for the following reasons. 1. There are no profiles for each connection, I have to keep rewriting IP's and ports as well as authentication credentials each time I want to connect to another socks. 2. It doesn't show any sort of notification, just the key.

Clean interface. One of the very few socks that have tile/widget switch. Since im using vpn over wifi, i suggest adding a feature to auto off the connection when wifi is lost (just like S*per Pr*xy app). Adding that, I'll give a 5 Edit: after trying a few hours. Seems like its still unstable..

Very good but you have to enter details for different proxies. Cannot save more than one proxy profiles. Need to be updated to add support for saving different proxies to easily switch between them.
