This permission is required because drivers need continuous real-time location updates while completing accepted orders or trips. The app uses this service to provide navigation, update pickup and drop-off progress, support customer/vendor tracking, and ensure successful delivery completion.

If the foreground service is delayed, paused, or stopped, the driver’s live trip tracking, route progress, pickup/drop-off updates, and order fulfillment experience may be affected.

The foreground service is not used for unrelated tracking. It is used only when the driver is online and actively handling a delivery, logistics request, or ride task.
