Best in Class is the Open Fiber app that promotes an efficient and aware security management system.

The Best in Class app has been designed to help people who work with Open Fiber to better understand the value of the Safe Job and learn about all the aspects that exist in the field of Health and Safety, to acquire greater awareness of HSE issues.

Why this app

Open Fiber is building the largest fiber optic network in Italy, guaranteeing coverage not only in large cities but also in small towns, posing the challenge of overcoming the digital divide.
In this process, Open Fiber is committed to protecting people and workplaces and helping everyone lead safer and healthier lives.
The goal is to encourage careful and proactive behavior towards Security by the people who work with Open Fiber.

Services included

Through the Best in Class app it is possible to:

- Report near misses and enter all the information useful for preventing future accidents (description of the near miss, date and place of the event, attached photos).
- Fill in an assessment questionnaire on HSE issues to increase knowledge on safety issues and encourage continuous improvement of the people and companies that collaborate with Open Fiber

At the end of the questionnaire collection process, Open Fiber will analyze the results and promote a reward system in the HSE area, to improve safety in the workplace and increase people's awareness of everyone's active role and responsibility.
