YeboNadi is a secure voice recorder application. Built on a zero-knowledge encryption architecture, your recordings are encrypted on your device before they upload to the cloud storage — meaning not even we can listen to them.

🔐 MILITARY-GRADE ENCRYPTION
Every recording is protected with AES encryption using a key derived from your personal passphrase. Your passphrase never leaves your device and is never stored on our servers.

🛡️ ZERO-KNOWLEDGE ARCHITECTURE
We designed YeboNadi so that your data stays truly private. The server only handles encrypted blobs — it has no ability to decrypt your recordings without you or your authorized person providing the encryption key. Privacy is therefore by design, not just by policy.

☁️ SEAMLESS CLOUD BACKUP
Your encrypted recordings sync automatically to the cloud. Record and transmit from anywhere, your data is always protected. Even if your device is lost, your recordings which have been transmitted remain safe as the recordings can only be decrypted and therefore understandable only with your encryption key to enable the decrypt process.

🎙️ BACKGROUND RECORDING
Two recording options -
First option is to start a recording. Switching apps, screen lock, sleep or focus mode or phone call will not interrupt the recording. YeboNadi will continue recording in the background so you never miss a moment. The recording will not stop unless manually initiated or phone battery runs out and shuts down. Recordings will not automatically restart when the phone switches back on, it must be manually restarted. This is ideal for when one feels threatened and needs evidence, for meetings, lectures, interviews and field work.
The second option is start recording and YeboNadi will stop when another app or a phone call is activated. YeboNadi will also stop if the screen goes into standby, screensaver or sleep mode. The recording must be manually reinitiated. This is perfect for situations where was does not feel threatened.

📍 LOCATION TAGGING
Optionally tag recordings with GPS location metadata so you always know where a recording was made. This feature also allows for traceability and location by law enforcement where the individual is reported as missing or none contactable. It is also Ideal for journalists, researchers, and travel documentation who want to prove their location at the time a recording was made.

📦 CHUNKED RECORDING & UPLOAD
All recordings are automatically split into encrypted chunks and uploaded in the background. Chunking size is based on user preference from every 30 seconds when one feels threatened to every 5 minutes when one feels they are in a relatively safe environment. Upload is subject to data availability and environmental factors.

📂 ORGANIZED LIBRARY
Browse, search, and manage all your recordings from a clean, modern interface. View duration, size, date, and location at a glance. Flag recordings to either never be overwritten or else allow the data to be overwritten whenever the drive is full.
