App Will Not Let Me In - was assured late December during an in-person meeting that insurance cards + other key material would be sent out January 1. It is Jan 15 and I have yet to receive any physical correspondence, digital correspondence, or phone correspondence about my account or if I'm even insured, and without the ID Number on those materials I cannot log in on the app or in a browser. Disappointed because I had heard EMI was better than United, but not surprised.

Most of the time I am able to refer employees to the provider app because they can register with info they have memorized to get an electronic insurance card. It will find their member ID and sync it up with the account - not EMI! If an employee doesn't know their 11 digit member ID they can't register...seems really unintuitive. Although the insurance is itself is a good product the app is not good from what I can tell.

Pretty much an app to access your policy numbers, nothing else. Can't access basic info about coverage or policy information. Provider search is about as useful as a kick in the teeth. Don't bother with it. Writing your info down in notepad and saving it to a floppy disk is more useful.
