About this app

It uses Reverse Polish Notation (RPN), which uses the ENTER key instead of the "=" (equals) key.

In addition to all the functions you'd expect from an ordinary calculator, WRPN 16c also has many features specifically designed for the computer professional:

• Word sizes from 1-64 bits per word
• Signed math (1's complement, 2's complement, unsigned)
• Logical operators (and, or, xor, not, masks, etc)
• Bit-wise operators (shift, rotate, rotate with carry, etc)
• 32 storage registers
• 4 position stack
• 203 lines of program memory

WRPN 16c is available on other platforms, such as Windows, MacOS, and Linux from the following web site http://www.wrpn.emmet-gray.com

On my Motorola G8 Power (Android 10) the right-hand side of the numeric display is "missing". So the first ~4 characters (in dec/hex/oct/bin mode) can't be seen. It was OK on an older Motorola phone (Android 6). A pity, as it makes it unusable. 11 June 2021 - I tried the update (and phone is now on Android 11). This has a more severe problem. Input no longer works. The keys icons all "move" a little, but no numbers appear at all. 17 June 2021. Latest update now working OK. Only "complaint" is the ON button doesn't do anything. If it worked as ON/OFF it would be a quick way to clear the registers and display.

I used this for years and loved it, even though it was always a bit buggy. The latest release forces a title bar at the top of the image that messes up the calculators proportions and makes it hard to use.

An RPN calculator is a must have for me, calculations are much faster to enter and it's what I have always used. I am still using the 11c I purchased when I went to college and this app is very convenient to have on my phone at the ready.
