PompoOS (Πομπός — "the transmitter") is sovereign, decentralized off-grid messaging and location sharing designed to communicate where internet and cellular networks do not exist.
COMMUNICATE OFF-THE-GRID
• Connect via Bluetooth Low Energy to your LoRa radio node (such as Heltec WiFi LoRa 32 V3 or Meshtastic-compatible hardware operating on 868 MHz / 915 MHz bands).
• Messages hop from node to node forming an autonomous mesh network—independent of cellular carriers, SIM cards, or central cloud servers.
SOVEREIGN IDENTITY & CRYPTOGRAPHIC PRIVACY
• No phone number and no account registration required: impossible to censor or de-platform.
• Your identity is an end-to-end cryptographic keypair generated locally on-device with X25519 encryption.
• Share your contact with an easily spoken short ID (e.g. KWY1-F8G4) or scannable QR code without exposing personal details.
• Back up and recover your sovereign identity anytime using a standard 12-word seed phrase.
EFFICIENT MESH PROTOCOL
• Real-time peer-to-peer and broadcast text messaging.
• Quick status beacons with ultra-compact spectrum payloads.
• Full radio telemetry: hop counts, Received Signal Strength (RSSI), and Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR).
• Transparent local queue: inspect packets on-air, pending, or verified.
PompoOS is built for remote communities, rural networks, emergency readiness, and sovereign peer-to-peer radio communication.
