About this app

Youvati is a new super-app for the complete management of individual beauty parlours. It addresses the women’s training, business, and financial needs. Through the app, the beautyprenuers (BP's) will be able to access online and offline courses, avail loans at low-interest rates or in the form of returnable grants, and run their businesses more efficiently. The features of the app include creation of a portfolio for the BP’s, appointment booking, managing expenses, booking orders for consumables, sending promotional messages to customers, etc. The app will also have a feature to refer and earn. By referring students for our fee-based beauty courses, BP’s will have an opportunity to earn an additional four to five thousand rupees every month.

Empower Pragati is a social enterprise specializing in livelihood-focused skill development training to empower India’s disadvantaged communities. Since 2010, Empower Pragati has trained more than 500,000 youth in 15 sectors across 22 states in India. Our target population includes unemployed youth, women, migrants/displaced communities, informal sector workers, minority groups, and persons with disability.

Started in 2018, Empower Plus is the fee-based vertical of Empower Pragati. It offers market-driven vocational courses at subsidized prices for low-income groups. It has two sub-verticals- Beauty Skills and Future Skills..
