About this app

Pitchproof is an offline tuner and metronome for Android. The tuner tells you the note, how many cents off you are, and how sure it is, so a noisy room doesn't turn into a confident wrong answer. For low notes it listens over a longer window, which helps it tell a bass string apart from its harmonics. The metronome runs off the audio clock rather than a screen timer, with tap tempo, beats, subdivisions and three click sounds, and the app shows the drift it measured over ten minutes.

There is no account, no internet access and no analytics, and audio is processed on the phone without being recorded or sent anywhere. It costs $4.99 once, with no subscription or in-app purchases.
