Unlike standard allocations, our application focuses on a fair balance of working hours. The algorithm works to:
Fair Allocation Priority: At the end of the month, the employee with the fewest hours worked (or the most hours left) automatically receives priority for the next assignment. This ensures that rosters are distributed evenly among the employee.
Quota Restriction (Filtering): Maximum shift or shift quotas you set are entered into the system according to your needs. When an employee reaches their quota, they are removed from the automatic assignment list. (However, fair priority ordering is not affected; only employees with quotas are filtered.)
Leave, Preference, and Mandatory Assignments: You can easily include employee leave (fair target hours are recalculated by deducting them from working hours), public holidays, and special preference/mandatory assignments in the system.
Flexible Time Management: Control whether weekend or public holiday shifts are included in the roster with a single click.
Shuffle Function: If the balance of fair hours is equal, you can create a new starting rotation each time by changing the rotation seed used to initiate the distribution.
