Countly is an automatic country day tracker and travel day counter. It counts the days you spend in each country using location on your phone, helping frequent travellers monitor Schengen 90/180, tax residency, visa and other day-count rules before thresholds approach.

DAY COUNTERS
• Schengen short stays: tracks the standard rolling 90 days in any 180-day window. Arrival and departure dates are counted as days of stay.
• Optional tax-residence counters: monitor common day thresholds, including the UK Statutory Residence Test, rolling presence periods and custom rules. A day count is only one part of a residence test and does not determine tax residence.
• US and Canada: monitor day-count components used in selected US state and Canadian federal rules, including NY, NJ, CT, MA, PA, NYC, California's rebuttable nine-month presumption and Canada's federal 183-day sojourner rule. Canadian presence can be grouped by province. Other legal tests and facts may apply.

PASSPORT POWER
Compare passports using an informational score based on entry categories, published stay lengths and destination weighting. Residence-permit comparisons are editorial estimates. Rules change; verify every destination before travel.
