About this app

Simple Home Energy Log is a convenient journal for recording home electricity meter readings, monitoring energy consumption, and estimating costs.

Add each reading with a date, meter value, electricity tariff, and optional note. The app automatically calculates energy usage between entries and provides an estimated cost for the consumed electricity.

Use the ledger to review your latest readings and quickly edit or delete entries. The timeline displays your records in chronological order and helps you find periods with higher energy use.

The dashboard provides a clear overview of:

total electricity usage;
estimated bill amount;
average daily consumption;
the highest-usage interval;
the number of recorded readings.

Set your price per kWh and preferred currency symbol for more useful cost estimates. Filters let you view all entries, high-usage periods, or readings that include notes.
