ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE — WHY ENHANCED EQ ASKS FOR IT
The Per-App Profiles feature uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect which app is currently in the foreground so it can auto-apply the EQ profile you assigned to that app.

What it reads:
• Only the foreground app's package name (e.g. "com.spotify.music").

What it does NOT read:
• No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
• No screen content, on-screen text, keystrokes, or passwords are accessed.
• No personal data is collected, shared, or sold.

The package name is processed locally on your device only. The service is opt-in — enable it from the Per-App Profiles screen, and disable it anytime in Android Settings → Accessibility to stop Per-App Profiles instantly without affecting any other feature.

Enhanced EQ runs as a persistent foreground service so your sound stays tuned no matter what app you're in.

This app is an awesome GLOBAL system equalizer solution. The thing I like the most is the auto-switching. I have a soundbar I use at home and earbuds when I'm out. I love not having to worry because the app is going to determine which device I'm connected to and automatically apply my preferred setup for that device. I also use 3 different streaming apps: Spotify, Trebel, and Soma.fm. They sound slightly different, so different profiles, but same auto-apply when switching!

Dear Sir, I want to tell you about the bugs of your app that earlier the combination of Poweramp and this app gives a great sound but now the song plays well for a few minutes. But after that there is distortion, if I try to do any setting in this app then the distortion increases more whereas earlier If you want to see where the issue is coming from, go to Poweramp's Setting > Audio > Output choose any option to bit/khz rate change So you will notice clear heavy.

I was skeptical at first but the app works well for what it is. I'm able to use the EQ system wide and it can recognize my DAC so it can start up with no problems. One feature I'd suggest would be the ability to EQ the left and right channels independently, similar to what the Qudelix software allows for their DACs.
