ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE — WHY ENHANCED EQ ASKS FOR IT
The Per-App Profiles feature uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect which app is currently in the foreground so it can auto-apply the EQ profile you assigned to that app.

What it reads:
• Only the foreground app's package name (e.g. "com.spotify.music").

What it does NOT read:
• No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
• No screen content, on-screen text, keystrokes, or passwords are accessed.
• No personal data is collected, shared, or sold.

The package name is processed locally on your device only. The service is opt-in — enable it from the Per-App Profiles screen, and disable it anytime in Android Settings → Accessibility to stop Per-App Profiles instantly without affecting any other feature.

Enhanced EQ runs as a persistent foreground service so your sound stays tuned no matter what app you're in.

Ratings and reviews

I was skeptical at first but the app works well for what it is. I'm able to use the EQ system wide and it can recognize my DAC so it can start up with no problems. One feature I'd suggest would be the ability to EQ the left and right channels independently, similar to what the Qudelix software allows for their DACs.

For the developer-- thanks for this app. I have emailed you a comprehensive bug report. For the users-- This is an excellent system-wide EQ. I have had much better luck with this app than wavelet. It's parametric EQ bands are transparent and have minimal phase interference. I managed to tune my new Galaxy Buds 4 Pros to be impressively flat which has helped my workouts. The app UX itself could use some quality life improvements, but these don't affect the core functionality of what it does.

Omg your a gem in this category brah, I really apreciate your work once again, my favorite is split channel EQ-ing that was the most need and my favorite audiophile feature that i know, Im really advanced in knowledge so I know it makes a huge difference with some of the other DSP effects THANK YOU

What’s new

WHAT'S NEW (1.3.5):
- Community is now social. Comments have threaded replies — reply, and it nests under the comment. Like comments and sort threads by Top or Newest.
- @mention people (tap to open their profile). A new Activity bell tells you when someone replies to or mentions you — tap it to jump straight to that comment.
- Profiles now show likes received + join date. Plus the v1.3.5 community overhaul: Trending ranking, clip-risk warnings, and spam protection.
