Japanese is a trainer for people who actually want to learn Japanese, not just swipe through a few flashcards.
WHAT'S INSIDE
- 40 lessons, 400 phrases — from a simple "こんにちは" to idioms and business vocabulary at B2 level
- Levels A1, A2, B1, B2 following the CEFR framework — learn step by step, in a structured order
- Each lesson is studied first with flashcards (word + a real example sentence), then tested
DIFFERENT TYPES OF EXERCISES
So words actually stick, instead of just passing in front of your eyes:
- Choose the translation — in both directions, Japanese↔English
- Fill in the missing word in a sentence
- Build a sentence from scrambled words
- Type the translation yourself — with a hint if you get stuck
- Listen to a phrase and write down what you heard (with a Japanese voice, plus the same hint)
You need 90% correct answers to pass a lesson — only then does the next one unlock. That way the material actually sinks in, instead of just being checked off.
SMART REVIEW
Built-in spaced repetition (Leitner system): words you get wrong come back as soon as the next day, ones you know well come back after a week, two weeks, a month. A separate review session mixes words from different lessons and levels.
REMINDERS
You can turn on a daily practice reminder at whatever time suits you. It switches itself off once you finish the whole course, or you can turn it off manually in Settings at any time.
WHO IT'S FOR
Whether you're starting from zero or already have a foundation and want to build a solid B1–B2 level: for moving abroad, studying, work — or simply because you want to actually be able to use Japanese.
Practice 10–15 minutes a day — and in a few months you'll be surprised how much you already understand.
