About this app

Work Korean is a practical Korean app for foreign workers in Korea. It is not exam Korean. It is the Korean you need to hear and say today at the factory, construction site, farm, restaurant, and in daily life.

■ 1,054 phrases you use at work
Work orders, safety warnings, when you are sick, pay and contracts, dormitory, offices and hospitals, people at work, construction, farms and barns, restaurant kitchens, and daily life: 11 areas, 107 situations. Every phrase has a meaning, romanization, and audio.

■ Understand the boss, even casual and shouted
At work you hear casual and shouted Korean more than polite Korean. 398 boss phrases come in three forms: polite, casual, and shouted.

■ Listen and reply
Hear what shop staff, neighbors, and drivers say to you, and practice the right reply.

■ Words, numbers, dialogues
446 words, 169 numbers, times, and money with a dictation quiz, and 54 real dialogues.

■ Know your rights
How to read a pay slip, check your contract, what to do after a work injury, how to change workplaces, and where to call for help (1350, 119, 112). This is not legal advice; sources and years are shown.

■ Works offline
All phrases and audio are inside the app.

■ Languages
