About this app

The EMSL app will help streamline the sampling activities and field data collection configured for inspections/surveys associated with Asbestos-, Lead-, and Mold-related projects. Featuring an easy and intuitive process flow that has been designed to help save time while improving the quality of the work by the field inspectors, the app allows users to combine any of the following key process mechanisms:

- Collection of Inspection field data (materials, photographs, quantities, damage conditions, etc.).
- Create electronic COC
- Lab Capacity Reservation
- Generate an overnight shipping label

After samples are submitted to the EMSL lab, data analysis reports and data are automatically integrated with the project. This allows reports to be customized to client specifications including all of the information captured by the survey team including materials, photographs, damaged conditions, etc.

Ratings and reviews

Lots of bugs, daily crashes, and random cancelations. App doesn't function well without Internet, some jobs are in areas without cell coverage. Air & swab micro samples require seperate COCs. There isn't an option to pre-fill sections; For example, country, state, volume, test method, turnaround time, units for air sampling, non-potable for surface sampling & selected lab are almost always the same but have to scroll each time to select. May switch back to filling out pre-filled COCs.

All I wanted it for was the FedEx labels, it does not render them in a format that is useful at the actual fedex locations. The app makes them way too large so the barcodes are on two pages

Few options, minimal features. There is no way to check lab results, look up products, get lab addresses, etc. Very dissapointing considering it's 2019 and competitors offer better apps.
