Live Link Face (Beta) for real time MetaHuman facial animation in Unreal Engine — capture performances from your device.

Real time animation for MetaHumans:

- The Live Link Face app generates animation to drive a MetaHuman Character in real time.
- Animation data is streamed to Unreal Engine over a network using the MetaHuman Live Link Plugin.
- Facial animation can be applied to any MetaHuman character, in just a few clicks.
- This workflow requires a desktop PC running Windows 10/11.

Timecode support for multi-device synchronization:

- Select from the system clock or an NTP server, or use a Tentacle Sync device to connect with a master clock on stage.

Realtime animation support is currently limited to devices with certain Qualcomm chipsets.

The following phone models have been verified as compatible in our own testing:

- OnePlus 12 5G
- ROG Phone 7 Ultimate
- Samsung S23 Ultra
- Samsung S24 USA/Canada/China
- Samsung S24 Ultra
- Sony Xperia 1 VI

The application should be compatible with devices containing the following Qualcomm chipsets. However we cannot guarantee compatibility as phone manufacturers may choose to disable required chipset features.

- Snapdragon 8 Gen 1
- Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
- Snapdragon 8 Elite

Note that the Snapdragon 8s series of chipsets is not supported.

Did not work with my Samsung S23 Ultra, has anyone gotten it to work with this same phone? Plus there is no option to type in an IP address, if you Google how to connect it says you have to type in your pj's IP address, but there is no place in the app that shows the IP address.

Very promising for Android user developers, though the limited UI and connection options compared to the iOS app make a lot of existing tutorials and 3rd party software completely non-usable for this app. Was not able to get it working for my use cases compared to the iOS option, but hope to see the beta continue to develop so I can soon!

its not working on s24 ultra , both live and face icon on buttom right corner are red , the app connects to live link but the subject is invalid , also theres no landmarks on the screen even though i turned it on in settings!! ps: i installed camo studio on pc and android and its working just fine. but the livelink face for android itself... ! the error in live link ue is: can't evaluate frame for (phone name). no data was available.
