About this app

Most app blockers make you list everything you want to block. Epimel is a focus app that works the other way around: you choose the few apps you can use, and everything else is blocked until your focus session ends.

If you've ever wanted an app blocker that lets you use certain apps, like your notes, a calculator or your music, while shutting out everything else, this is it.

WHY THE PERMISSIONS
• Usage access: lets Epimel see which app is open during a session, so it knows when to show the block screen. It is checked on your device only and never stored or sent anywhere.
• Display over other apps: shows the block screen on top of a blocked app.
• Notifications: shows the session control, task reminders and the quick-start shortcut.
• Alarms: used to start and end scheduled sessions and to fire task reminders.

Epimel works well as a study focus timer, a focus mode for work, or a way to set your phone down without deleting the apps you need.
