Fantastic mobile port of a fantastic emulator. This is a great port of the PC version of the epsxe. Obviously some features and such were lost in the transition, and navigating the in-app browser can be very confusing. Once you get it down though, the app works great. I've been having a wonderful time playing games I both loved as a child, and ones I'm experiencing for the first time now. Also, I'm playing on a MOGA Hero Pro controller, and it works fantasticallly.
Amazing PS1 emulator I enjoyed the PC version of ePSXe and the Android version gives me the same amount of enjoyment. Just make sure to bring a gamepad for the best experience. My only problems is that sometimes the beginning of voice dialogue gets cut off in Megaman Legends, plus I have to set the audio latency lower so the audio and video aren't desynced.
Performance hicups on shield TV (X1 processor) I am running the new shield TV and the emulator runs well, surprisingly enough it runs even better and smother on my new Gpd xd device which is great as that is now my main emulation device... Perhaps the emulator is not yet fully optimized to take full advantage of the x1 processor.. The over clock feature is great all games run smoothly now there is one issue with speed punks NTSC game where it crashes epsxe please fix.. Excellent emulator overall
I put this ahead of FPse as the best PSX emu on the store Its come on in leaps and bounds recently, lots of very good improvements now enable graphics the PS1itself could only dream of. It uses a plug in system, meaning to get the most out of the app, you'll need to do a little extra work but do bear in mind if you simply wanna play you don't need to really concern yourself with all that. As with any emulator, if you get stuck, try searching for tutorials on youtube.
Wow!!! Perfect on Nexus 6P People, u need to make ISO images of your playstation games. Learn to read b4 blasting devs. Playing classic games from another era.... brilliant! No issues on my Galaxy S4 phone. Loves to eat batteries, although that is mainly the screens fault ;) Edit: Just hacked an old xbox (2002) controller to be USB to hook up to my OTG cable. Works a treat on games I play. Need more tape to keep the phone to the controller :) FF7, 8 and 9 are great on this! Cheaper than buying the games again on Vita
Question for anyone I love this app been hooked on it since I got it best 3 bucks I spent but... I'm playing Metal Gear Solid and I'm fighting Psycho Mantis and I can't figure out how to use the "2nd controller port" Help me!
