About this game

ePSXe for Android is a Playstation emulator (PSX and PSOne). It is a port of the famous ePSXe for PC. ePSXe provides very high compatibility (>99%), good speed, and accurate sound. It is designed for smartphones and tablets, (for 1-4 players) including a fun 2 players option with split screen mode. It includes virtual touchscreen pad support, hardware buttons mapping (Xperia Play, phones with keyboard or gamepad, external gamepads bluetooth or USB such as WiiMote, Sixaxis, Xbox 360, Moga, Ipega) and analog sticks. ePSXe includes native support for ARM and Intel Atom X86.
ePSXe supports HD enhanced graphics including 2x/4x software renderer and two OpenGL renderers, cheat codes as well as savestates and memcards compatibility with the PC version.

Ok, except for lacking controller support. I am using this app on 2 of my devices. With my phone, I am trying to set up my 8BitDo Zero 2 controller. The Dpad will not work, no matter what I do. It works in system menus and will even let me map them to the controller scheme in the input menu. However, when I get in game, it doesn't do anything. I have made several tests and it works perfectly on other consoles. Even playing re4 on switch it works great. So the problem is with the emulator.

An amazing emulator. Runs great, options are decent, and i NEVER lose progress because I closed my phone in a rush. Any time you accidentally exit the app, or get a phone call, even if you battery dies, you will get an option to resume your game exactly where you left it. I'm very impressed.

Does everything that it promises to do so far! Now that I know that the back button opens the emulator window (for quitting a game to reset and reload), I have nothing else to complain about xD ! ...Well, maybe one or two very, VEERRRY minor things. The audio seems a little delayed (but that could be the rom's fault) and the button overlay is a little small for my man hands! Otherwise, a fantastic product that was well worth my money!
