About this app

alQibla provides you with an easy tool to precisely determine the direction of qibla from any location around the world and calculate the prayer times for your city.

Features:

1. Prayer Times based on your calculation method & location (detects automatically and allows searching too).

2. Prayer Times Notifications based for all prayers including one for before Fajr.

3. Notifications can have different Adhan for each prayer.

4. Hijri Islamic calendar.

5. It uses location provider services to determine your location and gives you the direction to Qibla on a Google Map and and Compass.

6. It also allows you to find Prayer Times for the following calculation methods:

Ja'fari Ithna Asheri
University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi
Islamic society of North America (ISNA)
Muslim World League (MWL)
Umm al-Qura, Makkah
Egyptian General Authority of Survey
Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran

7. Prayer times tuner to make adjustments and share monthly prayer timetable with your friends/family/relatives.

Requirements:

1. Android 2.2+ installed with Location Provider turned ON.
2. Also requires either a WiFi or a 3G network to load the map tiles.
3. For prayer time adhan notifications it requires services running in the background.

hi. it's better now. You can see the map location qibla, and azan sounds when salah time begins, but now asar salah methods cannot change to hanafi, stays the same and can't adjust salah times forward or backwards, before I was able to forward 3 minutes maghrib and 5 minutes dhuhr. and can't select different azan for different salah, only can select one

There is no location search available. Your Android device has to have a GPS/location chip. I used the app more than 10 years. It will be useless without location search.

Why is the widget not showing anymore?? it was very helpful. Please bring it back.
