Welcome to Calembour!

Your goal is to clear 60 levels by spelling strong words from your rack and beating each round’s score target. Find star cards in the shop that change how you score and build wild, run-winning combos. Take on Letter Bosses after key levels, survive handicaps and modifiers, and push your run as far as you can.

You’ll need sharp spelling, smart shop picks, and a deck that clicks if you want to climb the ladder, beat the bosses, and finish the run.

Built for touch – drag tiles, place words, and play one-handed in portrait; tuned for quick mobile sessions.
Every run is different – each word, discard, shop offer, and star card can swing the next level.
Deep buildcraft – discover dozens of star cards across bronze, silver, and gold tiers, each with its own effect. Stack them up to 10 deep, mix up to five unique cards, and reroll the shop when the rack is wrong.
A full roguelike climb – 60 levels with rising targets and play budgets; 26 Letter Bosses (A–Z) with score races, word challenges, and rule-twisting modifiers that escalate in the late game.
Pressure that grows – from level 21, random word-class disabilities shake up every round; boss fights add debuffs and handicaps when the run gets serious.
Pick up where you left off – continue your active run, browse run history, and resume unfinished saves.
