About this app
Mach mit AR is the official supplementary app for the Mach mit German textbook series. The digital content of books A1.1, A1.2, A2.1, and A2.2 is combined in a single app.
Simply point your phone's camera at the page in the book. The app recognizes the page and opens the corresponding lesson video, listening activity, and vocabulary cards. If the camera is unavailable, you can access the same content by entering the page number.

GAMES SUITABLE FOR THE LESSON PACE
The games are organized by module. Students work with the vocabulary of the module they are studying in class. The Wiederholung section, following each of the three modules, reinforces the vocabulary from those modules.
• Bild finden: Reading the word and finding the correct image
• Wort finden: Looking at the image and choosing the correct word
• Hör gut zu: Listening to the word and matching it with its image
• Memory: Finding image and word pairs
• Buchstaben: Writing the word letter by letter
• der die das: Article practice
QUIZ AT THE END OF EACH MODULE
The "Das kannst du schon!" sections in the book have been transformed into an interactive assessment in the application. The student listens to the question, chooses the correct answer, or constructs the sentence word by word. At the more difficult level, the question is only asked aloud; thus, listening comprehension skills are emphasized.
ARTICLES WITH COLORS
der is blue, die is red, das is green. The same color system is used in the word cards and games, helping the article to be remembered along with the word.
SCANNED PAGE WORDS
When a page is scanned, the "Words" section lists only the words found on that page. Students can directly access what they are looking for during homework and review.
FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS
• No membership or login required. • No personal data is collected from students.
• No ads or in-app purchases.
• Camera image is only used to recognize the page and is not stored. • New content is added without waiting for an app update.
