BikeMap SP is a collaborative cycling map, created by cyclists, of the city and metropolitan region of São Paulo. It brings together in one place the public cycling network, useful points for cyclists, public accident statistics, and community alerts about missing bikes.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE
BikeMap SP is NOT an official government application. It is an independent, non-profit initiative of the São Paulo cycling community. The government information displayed in the app is obtained exclusively from the open public sources listed below, maintained by the agencies themselves. For official information, always consult the original sources.
🛣️ CYCLING INFRASTRUCTURE
View bike paths, bike lanes, shared routes, alternative routes, prohibited routes, sections under construction and planned. Public data from the São Paulo City Hall via GeoSampa (https://geosampa.prefeitura.sp.gov.br) and the NGO Ciclocidade (https://www.ciclocidade.org.br).
📍 POINTS OF INTEREST
Find bicycle racks, bicycle shops, repair shops, public air pumps, showers/changing rooms, Bike Itaú/Sampa stations (Tembici — https://bikeitau.com.br), metro and CPTM stations, and tourist attractions.
⚠️ ACCIDENTS WITH CYCLISTS
Public data from Infosiga-SP, maintained by the Government of the State of São Paulo (https://www.infosiga.sp.gov.br) — accidents with injuries and fatalities involving cyclists, with coverage from 2024 onwards. Find out which intersections require more attention.
🚨 COMMUNITY ALERTS
Reported your theft? Alert the community immediately — other cyclists in the area will receive a notification with a photo of the bike. Register your bikes (nickname, brand, color, wheel size, serial number, photo) to have the data ready in case of an incident.
🏆 CONTRIBUTE TO THE MAP
Add bike racks, repair shops, stores, and air pumps that are not yet on the map. Your contributions are reviewed by the administration before appearing.
